A two-storey building under construction has collapsed on Sunday, in Surulere area of Lagos State, Nigeria, living a 15-year-old hawker and three others dead.

According to the news report gathered by CEOAFRICA, three people were also rescued from the collapsed building by the neighbors around and are said to be responding to treatment in hospital.

It was also reported that some neighbors of the area had warned the developer of the building of its glaring inferior state and the possibility of its collapse, but he would not listen.

However, members of the community have beckoned on the Government to speed up their action in detecting inferior building and doing something about it to avoid disastrous scenes of this nature.
