Bauchi govt. orders prayers for Buhari.

Bauchi State government has given order for prayers‎ to be held in Churches and Mosques across the state for the quick recovery of Nigeria’s president, who is also the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic, Muhammadu Buhari.

 According to Ceoafrica, a statement issued by the state government in Bauchi, today signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Bello Shehu Illelah stated that, governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar has directed all emirs’ to direct all Jumu'at Mosques and Churches in their domains to hold the prayers on Friday, February 17th and Sunday‎, February 19th respectively.

“His Excellency‎, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar Esq, Governor of Bauchi State, has directed all Emirs in the state to direct Jumu'at Mosques and Churches in their domains to conduct special prayers on Friday, 17th and Sunday, 19th February respectively, for the quick recovery of Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, President and Commander- In- Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who is now receiving medical treatment abroad and for his safe return to the country.

"In the same vein, the special prayers should include the need for continued peace and harmonies among the people of the state and the country and for God to bless the state and the country with abundant resources to enable the APC government implement the campaign promises made to the electorate", it stated.
