The National Coordinator of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Alhaji Garus Gololo, has condemned the utterances of Ekiti state’s governor, Ayodele Fayose, against President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to Ceoafrica, the Miyetti Allah chief who was reacting specifically to Fayose’s recent statement in which he said, a chance for him to personally speak with the President from his sick bed in London would clear the doubts and controversies surrounding his health condition.
Governor Fayose’s position came after reports of the President’s recent phone conversations with the President of the African Union as well as the King of Morocco.
The President also last Sunday, placed telephone calls to former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
The President is presently in the United Kingdom where he is said to be resting and recuperating under medical supervision.
Fayose had said that instead of speaking with foreign leaders, he would offer to speak with the President to put an end to any doubt surrounding his health status.
However, in an interview with journalists in Makurdi, the MACBAN boss bluntly told Fayose to face squarely the challenge of non-payment of Ekiti workers’ salaries which he said had accumulated for months.
