In the federal government’s (FG) bid to aid research works and hasten full industrialisation in the country, the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu, has said that it would establish eight research laboratories across the country.
According to Ceoafrica, he made the disclosure when a team from the Institute of Human Virology visited him in his office in Abuja.
“We are very happy because we are planning to establish eight different laboratories in the country because diagnostics is critical in understanding what a problem is before going into finding adequate solution”, he said.
Onu added that the government would ensure that all multinational companies operating in the country established research laboratories in Nigeria to crack home grown industrialisation.
