FG Declares Dec. 25, 26 and Jan.1 Public Holiday

Nigeria (Abuja)- Wednesday, December 25, Thursday, December 26, 2013 and Wednesday, January 1, 2014, has been declared as public holiday by the Federal Government for the celebration of Christmas and New Year.

This was disclosed by the Interior Minister, Comrade Abba Moro, on behalf of the Federal Government yesterday in Abuja.

The minister enjoined all Christians and Nigerians in general to extend the spiritual benefits of Christmas which are love, joy, peace and kindness in their daily living.
