NIGERIA (Kwara) – A total of 3,000 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Erin Ile town, Oyun Local Government council of Kwara State.

It was gathered that youth associations, women groups, and market women were included in the defectors.

While addressing the defectors at Erin-Ile, Hajia Sikirat Anako, a member of the State House of Assembly representing Odo-Ogun state  constituency of the local government, said that the defectors decided to dump the PDP for APC in view of the tremendous developmental projects in the town.
