The Chief Executive Officer, Edgewise Global Resources Limited, Mr Yomi Oladipupo has called on government to partner with private organisations to train youths so that they can be employable.
He made this call during a breakfast program 'Meet Your AfricanCEO' on CEO Africa Online TV.
He noted that the sparseness of employable youths can be tackled if trainings are given to them aside the ones they got in school.
The government can partner with organisations like edgewise, where there are professionals to train individuals who show interest in auto- care
Mr Oladipupo mentioned that “after going to the University to learn, one must then enroll in the school of life.
“I studied zoology, but started Edgewise auto garage business in 2014, because I saw a problem in the society and discovered I can proffer a solution through rendering my auto-care services.
“Since I did not study Engineering, I did some personal studying to have background knowledge of the technicalities involved,
“When I have to employ people, I make sure I get professionals to do the job. That is how we ensure quality service for our customers.
“Youths need to identify the problems in their society, start small solutions and build around it,” he reinforced.
