NIGERIA (Niger) – Niger State Governor and Chairman, Northern Governors’ Forum, Alh. Babangida Aliyu, has urged Christians to use the opportunity of the season of Christmas in praying for peace and progress in Nigeria.

He said this in a Christmas message issued in Minna, Niger State, adding that they should spread the virtues of peace, love and charity which Christ exhibited while on earth as they commemorate his birth.

Aliyu urged the faithful to be tolerant and continue to maintain peaceful co-existence with people of different religious ideologies so as to develop the country
