NIGERIA (Oyo) –The Igbo United Socio-Cultural Association, which is saddled with the responsibility of uniting Igbo indigenes across the federation, had a closed door meeting with the Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Agodi, Ibadan, Oyo State.

At the end of the closed door meeting with the governor, the Chairman of the group, Mr. John Nnanna told CEOAFRICA.com reporter that the meeting was about various means of strengthening cordial relationship between the government and Igbo indigenes in the State.

“We have discussed various means of fine-tuning cordial relationship between the government of Oyo State and ndi-Igbo on social, political and economic issues.

“Our amiable governor expressed his happiness about various contributions of ndi-Igbo in the state and urged the association not to relent in its efforts which he described as tasking, but realizable.

At the end of the meeting, members had group photograph with Governor Ajimobi and promised to continually work with the state government in ensuring that peace and harmony reign in Oyo state.
