NIGERIA (Abuja) - A new television series which would focus on making Nigerians to be security conscious, has been premiered in Abuja by the former Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mike Okiro.

The 39-episode TV programme titled Red Alert, which was from his new book: Overcoming Security Challenges will hit the screen from January, 2014.

Several Nollywood actors and actresses featured in the series.

According to Okiro, the book’s adaptation into a television series was to pass its message to the public, adding that the poor reading habit of Nigerians made him to turn the book into television series which viewers would be longing to watch every episode.
