Report reaching CEOAFRICA news desks states that Unknown gunmen have kidnapped lawmaker representing Takai/Sumaila Federal constituency of Kano State, Garba Durbunde.

The assailants were said to have abducted Durbunde at Jere, along Abuja Road, Kaduna, while returning to Abuja after a trip to Kano.

As at the time of filing  this report, the leadership of the lower legislative chambers is yet to react to the abduction of Durbunde.
