The Centre for General Studies (CGS) in conjunction with the Office of International Programmes (OIP), University of Ibadan is set to hold an international conference on the topic: Tax Havens and the Developing World: The Global Dimension.
According to an invite forwarded to CEOAfrica by the host of the programme, Professor Charles Adesina, the conference is scheduled to hold at the Main Hall, Conference Centre, University of Ibadan (Opp. Chapel of the Resurrection) on Wednesday, 2nd August, 2017 by 10 am.
Delivering the keynote addresses at the conference are; Professor Akpan H. Ekpo, the Director General, West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM), Central Bank of Nigeria Learning Centre, Lagos and Prof. Bayo Okunade, a Professor of Political Science, Department of Political Science and Former Director, Distance Learning Centre, (DLC) University of Ibadan.
The conference, which will be attended by scholars, academics, top government functionaries and policy makers, is also open to interested individuals as the general public are invited to participate in the programme.
