CEOAfrica, an online media platform which celebrates the achievements of African people is set to host Professor Charles Adesina, a Professor of History at the University of Ibadan, tomorrow, 14th July, 2017.
Professor Adesina will feature as a guest in an exclusive interview on “Community Today” a programme on CEOAfrica Television, where he will discuss the upcoming International Conference on the topic ‘Tax Havens and the Developing World: The Global Dimension’ organised by the Centre for General Studies (CGS) and the Office of International Programmes (OIP), University of Ibadan.
The interview which would hold at the CEOAfrica Building at 24, Kudeti Avenue, Onireke, Ibadan, will witness the presence of journalists from other media organisations who will engage the Professor on various issues pertinent to Nigeria’s development.
Prof Adesina is Professor of History, Department of History, and Fellow, Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CEPACS) at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He has served as head of University of Ibadan’s Department of History, (2001-2003) and (2006-2008), where he has been a full professor since 2007. In addition to the teaching of African history and Development courses, he has to his credit the supervision of many successful graduate students.
Prof. Adesina has participated in, or chaired many national and international workshops and conferences. He has also previously taught at Obafemi Awolowo University and Kennesaw State University, Georgia, U.S.A. His is a member of numerous local and international bodies and has several publications to his credit.
As a Professor of History and Fellow at CEPACS, Adesina currently teaches courses in history, politics, and conflict management and collaborates with the Master of Science in Conflict Studies and the Master of Science in Strategic Studies in the Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan.
