All is set for the commencement of the International Conference organised by the Centre for General Studies and the Office of International Programmes, University of Ibadan.

The programme which is holding at the Main Hall Conference Centre, University of Ibadan has its theme as “Tax Havens and the Developing World: A Global Dimension’.

Invited Dignitaries and guests have begun to arrive for the conference. Among those present at the event are; the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Abel Idowu Olayinka who is represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professsor Emilola Aiyelari; the Royal Father of the Occasion, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi, represented by Sir Shehu Muhammad.

Other dignitaries present include; the First Keynote Speaker, Prof Akpan, represented by Prof Douglas; the second Keynote Speaker, Prof Bayo Okunade, represented by Prof Jibril Lang; the former Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan, Prof Abiola Odejide and many other scholars.
