SOUTH SUDAN – Following the ongoing crises in South Sudan, President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan has arrived Juba for talk with the embattled Salvir Kiir.

Although there were seize fire agreements between government soldiers and the opposition loyal to the former vice-president Riek Machar, yet it seems as if no progress has been made so far as fighting persist in the world’s newest nation.

At least 1,000 people have been killed since violence erupted on 15 December.

The unrest started after South Sudan's president accused Mr Machar of attempting a coup - which he denies.
