IBADAN METROPOLIS TO EXPERIENCE POWER OUTRAGE ON SATURDAY

Nigeria (Oyo) -THE Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has said that there would be an interruption in power supply in some parts of Ibadan on Saturday.

According to a release signed by the Acting Head of Public Affairs of the company, Niyi Olaitan, a copy which was made available on Wednesday, the power outage will affect areas like Ago-Taylor, Akinyemi Way, Gbekuba, IAR&T, Iyaganku, Joyce-B, Liberty Road, Odo-ona, Oluyole Estate and environs.

The release further stated that the interruption in power supply is to allow the company energize the newly completed 33kv New Express feeder from Ayede 330/132/33kv feeder and improve the quality of power supply to all the feeders radiating from interchange injection sub-station.
The new development will also increase the duration of time of power supply that customers on all feeders will enjoy.

This improvement IBEDC said would materially impact customers at Felele, Lead City University, CRIN, Challenge, Odo-ona Kekere, Orita, Podo, Sanyo and environs.
