Enugu Police Command Apprehends Fake Vehicle Emblem Seller

NIGERIA (Enugu) -The Enugu State Command of the Nigeria police through its operatives of the X Squad  section of the State Criminal Investigation Department,  has nabbed a suspect who gave his name as Julian Nduka for allegedly selling to innocent members of the public documents suspected to be fake vehicle emblems amounting to millions of naira, which was  allegedly acquired from Onitsha in Anambra State covering some states apart from Enugu.

According to a release made available to CEOAFRICA online news by the Enugu Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Nduka was apprehended at Uwani axis of the state as he was selling  the emblem to a member of the public unknown to him that he is being monitored.

His arrest came as a result of a written complaint from the State Board of Internal Revenue that some people are hiding under the guise of the revenue staff to defraud innocent citizens of the state to the detriment of the state board of internal revenue.

The Suspect however claimed that he is working with the Enugu South Local Government Council Board of Internal Revenue, but admitted that he is selling emblems from other state of the country other than that of Enugu State.

He also admitted that he used to print the emblem from a friends shop at Awada Onitsha Anambra State and further revealed that he used to convert same to his own use.

Investigation into the case have commenced in full scale.
