NIGERIA (Abuja)- Mr. Henry James Semenitari has been appointed as the new managing director/ CEO of Unity Bank Plc.

His appointment was approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria through a letter to the bank on January 9.

Since the resignation of the former MD/CEO, Ado Yakubu Wanka in August last year, Rislanudeen Muhammad had been the acting managing director.

The new MD/CEO has worked with First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Zenith Bank, Diamond Bank, United Bank for Africa, ACB International Bank and Continental Trust Bank in his 22-year banking career.
