NIGERIA (Plateau) - Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State has made minor reshuffling of his cabinet as he dismissed two commissioners and changed the portfolio of three others.

According to a statement signed by James Mannok, Director of Press and Public Affairs to the governor, those dropped were Lohfa Bako who was in charge of Youth Development and Abdulhamid Gamzaki who was in charge of Ministry of Transport.

Also affected is the former Commissioner for Information and Communication, Abraham Yiljap who is now to oversee the Tourism and Culture ministry and is replaced by Mrs Olivia Dazyam who was in the Ministry of Women Affairs.

The statement also revealed that former Commissioner for Environment, Mrs Sarah Yusuf moves to the Women Affairs Ministry, from Environment which is now to be overseen by Dongsar Dongtoe while James Yakubu moves from Sports to Youth Development.

Other commissioners were retained, while nominees for the other ministries would be announced later.
