Former President Goodluck Jonathan and Sambo Dasuki has failed to appear as a witness in a money laundering case between the federal government and Olisa Metuh, former national publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as ordered by Justice Okon.
Okon Abang, the presiding judge of the federal high court in Abuja, had on Tuesday insisted that Jonathan must appear before the court as a witness in the case, after Metuh had made the request.
When the court resumed its sitting on Wednesday morning, Jonathan was yet to appear before it.
Jonathan’s absence from court could be because of inability of the court bailiff to serve him with the court’s subpoena on Tuesday, it was learnt.
But the Department of State Service in whose custody Dasuki is detained has yet to produce the ex-NSA in court.
