Oyo Governor's wife solicits continuous peace and support from residents

The Wife of the Executive Governor of Oyo State Mrs. Florence Ajimobi (JP) has called residents of Oyo state to continue praying so that the peace enjoyed by the state is not jeopardised

 

Mrs Ajimobi made the call on Sunday while worshipping at Saint Peter's Cathedral, Ibadan North Diocese in commemoration of the 56th anniversary of the church Mrs Ajimobi, who expressed  gratitude to the Church for welcoming for the warm welcome given her, commending the church for their ceaseless prayers and support for the present administration in the State.

 

She stated further that the peace and progress that is being currently experienced in the State is as a result of their prayers and commitment to the success of theadministration of Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

 

Also, the first lady solicited increased support for the present administration in the state, noting that in honouring and respecting our leaders, we also honour and respect God. She concluded by praying for God's continued blessings in the year that just began.

 

Earlier, the Provost of the Cathedral, Very Reverend Wale Adebiyi in his speech described Mrs Ajimobi as a God-fearing first lady and commended her for honouring God by worshipping with them and admonished women all over to emulate her good deeds.
