Popular comedian and MTN Ambassador, Hafiz Oyetoro popularly called Saka, has lost his father. Pa Dauda Oyetoro died on Saturday morning and was buried on Sunday evening at the Oyetoros’ country home at Koso, Iseyin, Oyo State, southwest Nigeria. Pa Oyetoro, a farmer in his lifetime, died at the ripe age of 98.

Speaking exclusively on Sunday afternoon as the burial was going on, the MTN ‘I don Port’ star stated that his might have died of the old age  phenomena as there was no report of his being sick prior to his death. “There was nothing wrong with him prior to his death. He was hale and hearty, so I believe that he died as a result of old age. You know he was 98,” the ace comedian said.

Oyetoro, also a lecturer at the Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto Awori, Lagos, however expressed appreciation to Almighty Allah for giving his father long, healthy life. “He lived a good, healthy, long life and I thank Almighty Allah for this. I also thank all those who have been calling and sympathising with me since the passing on of my father as well as those who attend the burial,” he said, saying that the full burial programme will be announced later.
