Oyo State,governor,  Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has appointed 33 liaison officers and 14 zonal officers for the 33 Local Governments in the state. The governor's Special Adviser, Dr Festus Adedayo said in a statement in Ibadan on Monday, the governor said the liaison officers would act as a go-between of the state government and the 33 councils of the state.

He explained that the aim of this appointment was to strengthen the course of administration in the state and the local governments towards ensuring the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of the state at the grassroots.

According to him, the liaison officers would articulate the needs of the 33 councils of the state and monitor effective delivery of grassroots needs to the people. The 33 liaison officers are, S. T. T (Ibadan South West), Yinka Akinbode (Ibadan North), Jonathan Ogundinwin (Ibadan North East), Alhaji Mojeed Adegbenro (Ibadan South East), Gboyega Alabi (Ibadan North West), Elder Adelabu Gbadegesin (Ido), Kamoru Adeoye (Oluyole), Hon Nurudeen Lamidi (Akinyele), Mr. Ezekiel Adeyemi (Ona Ara), Mr. Ajani Michael Olusola (Egbeda), Hon Lekan Odunade (Lagelu), Mr. Olagunju Kunlle (Ibarapa North), Comrade Suraj Adegbite (Ibarapa central), Funso Oyinlola (Ibarapa East), S. A. Oyelayo (Atiba), Hon Bisi Adelabu (Afijio), Mr. Sulaimon Ramoni Babatunde (Oyo West), Hon Taiwo Tiamiyu (Oyo East), Mr. Adedeji Sunday (Ogbomoso South), Mr. Abass Bello (Ogbomoso North), Mr. Adegbola Gabriel (Surulere), Mr. Sunday Adeleke (Oriire), Mr. Ojo Jonhnson (Ogo Oluwa) and Hon Okunlola Kayode Emmanuel (Iseyin),

Shittu (Ibadan North East/South East), Mr. Dimeji Obisesan (Ibadan North zone), Mr. Bolanle Olanrewaju (Ido/Ibarapa East), Mr. Olayemi Adejumo (Ibarapa Central/North), Femi Egbedeyi (Akinyele/Lagelu). Hon Sina Adeagbo (Ona Ara/Egbeda), and Adesokan Ramoni Adeniyi (Oluyole) Hon Alhaji Ajeigbe M. B. (Atiba).
