NIGERIA (Abuja) - The Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education shall organize a forum aimed at Strengthening Mathematics and Science Education (SMASE).
According to a release made available to CEOAFRICA from JICA Nigeria Office by Ms Ejeregbe Elizabeth, the forum scheduled for February 4, 2014, will provide an opportunity for deliberations about how sustainable measures can be adopted for the promotion of Mathematics and Science Education, conscious of the fact that JICA support for the Ministry of Education which started in 2006 shall terminate by February, 2014.
The forum which would hold at the 2nd Floor Podium, Federal Ministry of Education, by 9.am prompt, shall have in attendance the Supervisory Minister of Education, Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, Heads of Agencies from various education stakeholders including UBEC, NCCE, NERDC, TRCN,NTI, all Executive Chairmen from State Universal Basic Education Boards and the Chief Representative, JICA Nigeria Office.
