DUD CHEQUE FRAUDSTER AT LARGE

NIGERIA (Enugu) - The Nigeria Police, Enugu State Command, through the operatives of the State Criminal and Investigation Department,  have commenced a full scale investigation into an alleged case of issuance of dud cheque of four million and forty thousand naira against one Benneth Nkwocha of no 44b Imoke Street G.R.A. Enugu State.

It was gathered that the suspect had earlier had a civil suit at the court of appeal with one Zed Chukwujama, who had allegedly received a sum of one million naira out of the sum of five million and forty thousand naira later went   to one of the new generation bank for the payment of the remaining amount when he was informed that the suspect has no such amount of money in his account.

However, all effort made to reach out to the suspect proof abortive. Meanwhile the state command is appealing to members of the public particularly those with relevant information about the where about of Benneth Nkwocha who is said to be about 40 years old, fair in complexion, about 5 feet tall and plump looking to report promptly to the state criminal and investigation Department Enugu or any nearest police station nearest to them as warrant of arrest is issued against the suspect.

In a related development, operatives of the Emene Division of the Nigeria Police Force, Enugu State Command, has nabbed a suspected Armed Robber with one locally made double barrel short gun, two live cartridges and one expended cartridge, a Mitsubishi Gallant Space Wagon with registration number NO.DB 688 ENU and an LG handset allegedly robbed from
their victims along Umuchigbo new Abakpa road, Abakpa, Enugu.

This development came as a result of information received on 25/1/14 around 8pm that alleged hoodlums were operating at Obiagu Street Emene which prompted the arrival of the operatives to the scene. Meanwhile, full investigations have commenced.
