A Clergy of Worksword of God Church, Ibadan, has raised an alarm over planned attack by the dreaded Boko Haram of Christian Prayer Camps in the South-West geo-political zone of the country. The man of God who spoke in Ibadan on Friday called for urgent prayer to secure divine intervention of God to destroy the plan.
According to him, the alarm being raised was a revelation shown him by God. He also called for security beef-up at various entrances of Churches and prayer camps in the region. While calling on prominent and high calibre Ministers of the gospel to avoid conflicts and hostility among themselves, the Clergy noted that the planned attack by Boko Haram "is going to be used to cause damages in the friendly relationship existing among the great fathers of faith in the region".
He asked the Christian leaders in the entire southern part of the country to stand strong against the external aggression of Boko Haram, saying, "people in Eastern, Western and Southern parts of the country must not feel unconcerned because the activities of Boko Haram are presently limited to just the North-Eastern part of the country."
On how the menace of Boko Haram can be rid of, the Clergy, though acknowledged the efforts being made by government, but urged the government not to be weak in handling the issue. He maintained that government should seek for solution from God to end the crisis, saying, "it is purely a spiritual affair, military intervention alone cannot bring an end to it.
"You don't use gun to fight Satan, if you kill one thousand members of Boko Haram, you have not killed the devil, we must go spiritual, if the government is not 'God-cratic' about the insurgency, it will shake the country and the government any moment from now", the Servant of God noted.
Stressing that seeking the advance help of God is the answer, Adegboye insisted that "what we are seeing is the operation of demons, how can someone fight Satan in the flesh? "The Niger/Delta militants crisis was over because we sought for divine intervention, God did the job before the military was able to disarm the boys, let the government give God an opportunity to proof Himself, He is not only the God of Churches, but the God of Nations.
"For this Boko Haram boys to surrender their arms, let us invite the man of war, the mighty man in battle to stand through His chosen vessel, then, the boys will run for their lives", the Clergy assured.
