the federal government owns radio station Gold FM in Ilesha, Osun state has been razed by inferno that burnt equipment worth hundreds of millions of naira.
It was gathered that the fire started around 4.30 pm from the studio arm of the radio station before spreading to operational headquarters other parts of the facility.
According to a staff of the radio station, who preferred not to be mentioned, the fire was a result of fire surge from the IBEDC, when electricity supplied was brought back.
The source disclosed that three quarter of the radio station was affected by the fire outbreak.
