Moments after Lagos state governor laments about how Nigerians don’t win the competiton another non Nigeria wins it all.

The winner of the 2018 edition of the #AccessBankLagosCityMarathon has emerged. He is Kenyan athlete, Godfrey Chirchir Kiprotich. The 32 year old former IAAF World Half Marathon Champion finished first at two hours eight minutes.

He takes home $50,000 prize money. Congrats to him!
