NIGERIA TO REVENGE THE BRITISH £3, 000 VISA BOND IMPLEMENTATION

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru had at the meeting with the British High Commisssioner, Andrew Pocock,  communicated the aspiration of Nigeria to retaliate the policy of       £3, 000 visa bond on British citizen if the British governments go ahead to implement it.

The decision bond reads thus;  the United Kingdom Government will begin to implement from November, 2013, the of £3, 000 cash bond for first time visa applicant from Nigeria, five other Commonwealth countries, including India, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

CEOAFRICA gathered that the Federal Government has already expressed its objection to the bond payment to the UK government but is yet to receive any official communication on the final decision of the UK government on the matter but that the Federal Government will take adequate steps to protect its national interest.
