LIBYA --- A bomb which was thrown over the fence into a private school in the Tabilinu area of Benghazi, has injured at least six children.

It was gathered that the bomb was thrown into the school compound during a break from lessons.

Benghazi has witnessed a series of bomb attacks and assassinations within the past year, but attacks on schools are rare.

There has not yet been any official confirmation of the incident.
