NIGERIA (Oyo)-The staffs at the Office of the Wife of the Executive Governor of Oyo State have been charged to use the media to influence the members of the public positively and use the largest room in the world i.e. room of improvement.

Mr. Gabriel Onafurume, the CEOAFRICA Editor-in-Chief, while delivering a lecture during a training program tagged “towards achieving set goals in development programs and projects in Oyo State at Access to Basic Medical Care Foundation Hub, Ring Road, Ibadan, advice the staff to desist from deceiving the public in the cause of publicizing project carried out by their 0ffice.

In respect to the topic, “The Media in the Mobilization of People for Government Projects”, the speaker said media is a way of sending message to the people and the media can influence the people positively or negatively.

” The program of the office of the first lady should get to the people of the state especially to the grass root and it will be an eye opener to the people,” he said.

The staff was cautioned to desist from campaign during such exercise and should focus majorly on the grass root through electronic media.

“Do not relent in your good works to the people of the people of the state, though it will be condemn due to political interference but do not rest your effort,” he said.
