NIGERIA (Ogun)-Ogun State government has donated an 18-seater Toyota bus and N500,000 to the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), 35 Artillery Brigade, Abeokuta.

While presenting the items on behalf of Governor Ibikunle Amosun yesterday at the South West Resource Centre, Abeokuta, his wife, Olufunsho Amosun, said the donation was to assist the association in the discharge of its charitable works.

She also stated that the money presented was to enhance the association’s financial capability so that it could impact positively on the life of the barracks community.

Mrs. Amosun urged the association to continue to support and attend all her programmes aimed at empowering women in the state to be self reliant. She asked that the army wives support the administration of her husband and his mission to rebuild the state.
