A young graduate of Ambrose Ali University (AAU) identified as Ebor Lovina died from injuries sustained after she was allegedly set ablaze by her boyfriend's elder brother for rejecting his advances.

Lovina was until her painful death, a staff at the Sun-Ray Hotel and Suites in Benin City

It was gathered that the accused had been pestering her for sex but she refused. She was rushed to the University Benin Teaching Hospital for treatment, where she later passed away.
