Chrisland VC, Hon. Sugar, Prince Oladeinde, others graces 2018 Easter Fiesta

It was a joyous atmosphere as the chrysolite crew emerged as the winner of the 2018 Easter Fiesta star prize of 500, 0000 naira. The young group of 4 were beaming with pride as the congregation honoured them with a standing ovation when they were awarded by the sponsor of the event alongside his family Prince Adeniyi Oladeinde for their outstanding performance among other contestants.

The 2018 Easter Fiesta  which was organized by CEOAfrica, sponsored by Prince Adeniyi Oladeinde Foundation for upcoming talented individuals to cart away the sum of 1million naira was a huge success as the second runner up, a soloist gospel singer Daniel cart away the sum of 200,000 naira while, the first runner up at the event known as the Exodus dancers, a group of two, Ife and Kehinde were awarded with a sum of 300,000 naira and the amazing and gifted group of 4 identified as the Chrysolite dancers was announced as the winner of the year’s event and were presented with the sum of 500, 000 naira.

The first female Pharmacist VC Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola who was a special guest of honour at this year’s event described the Easter Fiesta as a wonderful experience. According to her ‘’at first, I didn’t know what this event is all about. However, as I set my foot inside the hall, I realised I was going to enjoy every bit of the programme. Am so happy because I saw talented young ones who are using their gifts in a godly way.’’

While fielding questions from our reporter, Hon. Olatoye Temtope Sugar, the Founder of Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF), honorable member representing Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency and Chairman House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning said he was so happy attending this year’s Easter Fiesta. In his goodwill message at Easter period, he encouraged citizens to live at peace with all men and ensure they love each other.

Meanwhile, the Sponsor behind the Easter Fiesta, an Ibadan Philantropist, a man with few words, Prince Adeniyi Oladeinde while responding to a question why investing so much in this year’s event said ‘‘that is my way of life, am always fulfilled giving out what God has given me. Today’s event was wonderful and I want to say congratulations to Chrysolite crew for winning the star prize.’’

The Chrysolite Crew who were the winner at this year’s Easter Fiesta event while responding to a question from our reporter said their source of inspiration is God, they encouraged young ones like them to be focused. The eldest among them said, ‘’ you need to persevere and be determined. Our tutor dealt with us mercilessly but we thank God because we came first.’’ It will interest you to know that these young dancers are all product of public schools in Ibadan who are in Primary 5, JSS3, SS1 and SS2 respectively.

The event which was held at the Grace Hall of Jogor event centre in Ibadan featured Powerful Gospel ministers of God such as Damola Dipo, Prince Goke Bajowa, Kemi Wilson, Father Fuji and many more.
