President Goodluck Jonathan has accepted the resignation of four cabinet ministers. They are Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah; Minister of Police Affairs, Caleb Olubolade; Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe; Minister of State for Finance, Yerima Ngama.

It is not immediately clear why Messrs Olubolade, Orubebe and Ngama were asked to leave.

But Mrs Oduah was sent packing over corruption-related offences. She was indicted by both the House of Representatives and a presidential committee for compelling an agency under her supervision to buy her two exotic armoured cars in violation of Nigeria’s public procurement law.
