The Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Oyo state chapter Pharmacist Abiodun Ajibade has revealed that the Pharmaceutical Society serve as a channel of information that broaden the horizons of the people.
He made this known in an exclusive interview with CEOAfrica where he noted that, the government need to put more effort in eradicating Malaria so that, before 2020 as predicted, Nigeria will be a Malaria free country.
Pharmacist Ajibade while reacting to today’s World Malaria day, said, Citizens of Nigeria should maintain a clean environment in order to avoid mosquito bite.
He lamented that those who are affected most by Malaria are young ones and pregnant women, he however, advised mothers to always use mosquito nets provided by the government and also make use of mosquito repellent as well as insecticides to reduce Malaria in the society.
The PSN Chairman appealed to the masses to always visit the hospital or their pharmacist before using any drug as self-medication kills the body gradually.

Abdul-Lateef Olaoye
In the same vein, Abdul-Lateef Olaoye while speaking with CEOAfrica on World Malaria day opined that, clearing of unwanted bushes, cleaning of drainages, vaccination and fumigation will make Nigeria to be a Malaria free Country by 2020.
