A fatal auto crash involving two Toyota Hiace buses along Gusau - Zaria road has led to the death of 7 persons.

The Public Relations Officer of Federal Road Safety Corps in Zamfara state, Mr Nasir Ahmad who confirmed the news, blamed the accident on over speeding and dangerous overtaking.

"In all the passengers involved were 28, 7 have died and 21 were injured. Among the dead were six adults and one child and those who were injured are responding to treatment at Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital," he added.

Ahmad warned the drivers especially those using commercial vehicles to obtained speed limiting devices which are available in the market adding that this would go along way in safeguarding lives and property.
