The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has admonished Nigerians to ensure they participate in next year’s general elections and vote for reasonable leaders of their choice in order to move the nation to the next level.

He made this known on Sunday shortly after a thanksgiving service at the RCCG national headquarters in Ebute-Metta, Lagos.

The theme of the service was, “Hope for the hopeless.”

Adeboye, who was represented by the Assistant General Overseer, Administration and Personnel, RCCG, Pastor Johnson Odesola, said, “There is hope with God on our side, let’s be hopeful. Nigerians should look out for credible people, God fearing people.

According to the cleric, there is a need to continue to educate the electorates to vote for credible people who will not aid or support wrong policies or evil acts.

Adeboye pleaded with members of the National Assembly to pass the 2018 appropriation bill, noting that the second quarter of the year was almost over.
