Exclusive: “How I won Ibarapa East Bye-election”-Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin

The winner of just concluded Bye-election of Ibarapa East State Constituency under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Honorable Adebo Ogundoyin has ascribed his victory to the party’s leadership structure and his personal efforts in making Ibarapa East a better place.

The 31-year-old lawmaker made this known on Sunday during an interview with CEOAFRICA at Bodija, Ibadan.

Honorable Adebo Ogundoyin said “Politics is a game of number, it is about calculations and knowing what is on ground even before the day of election. I was very confidence that I would win according to the work that I have done, what I did before the day and the superb team of our party who helped to reach out to the electorate before the day of election.”

He lauded the leader of the party, Sen. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja for his relentless efforts in making the election a successful one. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin said “Sen.Adewolu is one of the most intelligent politicians I have ever known, his business credential is evidence, he has been a successful man even before he ventured into politics.

He encourages younger generations in politics and that is why I was given a chance to contest. He has shown excellence in his leadership roles and in his abilities to bring people with differences together to achieve a common goal, which is 2019 election. Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), has been rebranded to a new, mega and efficient party under his leadership”

Honorable Adebo Ogundoyin however pledged to make Ibarapa East Local Government a model to other Local Governments across the country.

“My dream is to make Ibarapa East Local Government a model to others across Nigeria and God’s willing, I believe I will be able to achieve that”

He thanked the electorates, most especially the people of Ibarapa East and Oyo State for rejecting APC and supporting Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for future transformation of Oyo State in general.
