Oyo guber aspirant charges youths on ‘Not Too Young To Run Bill’

The honourable member representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency, Chairman House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning, Founder of Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) and Oyo state governorship aspirant Hon. Olatoye Temitope Sugar has called on youths in Oyo state to take advantage of the ‘Not Too Young To Run Bill’ in preparation of 2019 general election.

Hon. Sugar made this known in Ibadan where he thanked thousands of youths who paid him a solidarity visit in his office at the OSF headquarter and urged him to contest for 2019 governorship position in Oyo state.

Saheed Olawale, one of the youths who spoke on behalf of his colleagues who visited Hon. Sugar said ‘‘we are here on a solidarity visit to Hon. Temitope Sugar and also to urge him to contest for the post of the number one citizen in Oyo state come 2019.’’

While responding to the clarion call, Hon. Sugar said ‘‘if you are sending me to go, fine but, it must be a collective effort. Youths in Oyo state must start vying for political positions in other to occupy the vacant seats and take Oyo states to the position of its pace setter status.

Thank God President Buhari has approved and signed the bill, so youths of Oyo state should ensure to participate fully in the forthcoming 2019 election. This new development is an opportunity to rise and be at the helm of affairs in the State.

I can assure you that, with your collective efforts ,more youths would be involved in the affairs of Oyo state come 2019.’’
