First Female Pharmacist VC endorses ‘Drug Abuse Round Table’

The First Female Pharmacist Vice Chancellor in Nigeria, Prof. Mrs Chinedum Peace Babalola, VC Chrisland University has endorsed ‘Drug Abuse Round Table’ program.

Prof. Babalola, made this statement in her office while speaking with CEOAfrica at Chrisland University Abeokuta, where she stated that, the program is part of the urgent solutions in eradicating drug abuse in Nigeria.

She lauded the efforts of regulatory bodies like: National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), for working tirelessly to control access to drugs in Nigeria.

The Pharmacist VC who was recently named among the 16 prominent Nigerian Women that excel in Science and Research, urged Nigerians to be involved in every exercise that will help eradicate drug abuse in the country.
