The Ibadan-based Philanthropist, Mogaji Agunleyinju, Beere of Ibadanland and the initiator of Akin Fagbemi Foundation, Dr. Akintomide Fagbemi on Friday, sympathized with the Oba of Lagos and Lagos State Government over the unfortunate fire outbreak that happened on Thursday, June 28, 2018 on Otedola Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Comrade Fagbemi who described the incident that claimed many lives and mutilated other victims as a huge loss said, “It is heartbreaking as Nigerians have not recovered from the recent Plateau massacres.”

He appealed to Nigerians to intercede for the country at this delicate time in order to avert the reoccurrence of such mishap.

In the same vein, he called on well-to-do Nigerians to help the victims by setting up a trust fund for compensating the family of the deceased and wounded victims.

Dr.Fagbemi however encouraged the constituted authority to improve swiftness to emergencies.
