Madagascar's Prime Minister,Christian Ntsay on Friday disclosed that the first round of much-awaited presidential elections that followed a political crisis ignited by electoral reforms will be held on November 7.

A second round of voting is scheduled for December 19, he added.

"There was a cabinet meeting today and the government took the decision that the first round of the presidential election would be on November 7, and the second round on December 19," Ntsay told journalists following the meeting.
