The member representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency, Chairman House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning, Founder of Olatoye Sugar Foundation and Oyo state governorship aspirant, Hon. Olatoye Temitope Sugar has commiserated with the Lagos state government over the fire incident that happened on Thursday, June 28 at the Otedola Bridge, Lagos end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, leaving 9 people dead and 54 vehicles burnt.

The governorship aspirant made this known on Friday while speaking CEOAfrica in an exclusive interview where he described the mishap as an unfortunate incident. He prayed that God will uphold the families of the bereaved and grant those who were injured quick recovery

The lawmaker however made a call to the federal government to speedy up various road construction projects especially in this raining season to avert  future occurrence of such magnitude .
