Ahead of the 2019 governorship election in Lagos State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state on Tuesday inaugurated seven committees for the successful prosecution of the electioneering.

CEOAFRICA gathered that the committees were set up to actualize the promise of the party to dislodge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in the forthcoming poll.

State chairman of the party, Moshood Salvador inaugurated the committees at the party’s secretariat today.

The committees are Security, Electoral, Finance, Contact and Mobilization, Research/Strategy/Planning, Publicity/Media, and Disciplinary.
