Ekiti 2018 Governorship Election: Again, Rec Scores Electoral Process High, 90% Peaceful

Speaking with CEOAFRICA reporter at his office at the INEC Headquarters Ekiti state, the Resident Electoral Commissioner Prof. Abdulganiyu Olayinka, has confirmed that according to field reports gathered from 8 Senior INEC Commissioners, who reported a peaceful and smooth electoral process in the ongoing Gubernatoral election.

Expressing satisfaction with INEC officials and Ad-hoc staff recruited for the purpose of the smooth running of the election, thanking them for a job well-done.

He pointed out a little hinge recorded at Agboyin LGA, where ballot papers were said to have been scattered on the ground, and two cases of malfunctioned card readers.

He added that these issues were immediately sorted out, and normalcy returned at the unit.

At the time of filing this report, collation of results is taking the center-stage at the INEC office
