Chrisland University VC in Glasgow for FIP Congress

Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Professor Babalola Peace Chinedum is among participants at this year’s International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Congress holding at the Scottish Event Campus Glasgow, Scotland.

Professor Babalola who is the first female pharmacist Vice Chancellor in Nigeria will be taking part in the 78th annual congress which among other things be looking to help participants understand and acquire the needed skills to debate effectively in order to make logical decisions.

The congress will also be looking at ways of broadening the role of pharmacists so that patients and health system can benefit from intake of medicine.

Prof. Babalola will be joining her voice with other participants at the event to deliberate on wide range of topics which range from new technologies and approaches to achieve individualized theraphy; advancements in drugs discovery; formulation; delivery systems; new collaborative practices; training and leadership development among others.

Prof. Chinedum was the former Dean of faculty of pharmacy, University of Ibadan. Her research interest focuses on drug analysis, phamacogenetics, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacogenomics and bioethics.
