Delegates Decides: Voting commence at PDP National Convention

Voting commenced at exactly 2:53am.

This follows after the voting rules have been made known by Gov. Okowa of Bayelsa state.  

At the commencement of the voting, a delegate from Abia, was the first to cast his vote.

And at exactly 3:06am, former vice president  Atiku Abubakar casted his own vote.

The planning committee has however divided the voting into two groups;

Group A

Anambra

Bauchi

Bayelsa

Benue

Borno

Cross River

Delta

Ebonyi

Kaduna

Kano

Imo

 

Group B:

GROUP B

Jigawa

Katsina

Kebbi

Kogi

Kwara

Lagos

Nassarawa

Niger

Ogun

Ondo

Osun

Oyo

Plateau

Rivers

Sokoto

Taraba

Yobe

Zamfara

While FCT votes alone.

Below are the voting process

*All 106 Abia State delegates completed voting at exactly 3:16am.

94 Kogi state delegates voted.

Anambra State 54 delegates, voted

102 Kwara delegates voted.

74 Bayelsa delegates, led by ex- president Goodluck  Jonathan.

Benue delegates, led by Mark and Ortom.

Cross River State, 94 delegates, voted.

Delta State has 150 delegates.

*Ogun state 21 delegates, voted.

Ebonyi 101 delegates, voted.

Edo State delegates, voted.

This leaves just Enugu, Ekiti, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano and Imo State on the Group A list.

As at 4:55am, only 12 states were yet to cast their votes.

Oyo delegates, voted.

124  Enugu delegates, state ofIke Ekweremadu, Deputy Senate President.

76 delegates were accredited for Plateau State but only 74 were seen in the queue.

Ekiti';s 109 delegates led by Governor Ayodele Fayose.

Kaduna';s 103 delegates have voted.

Sokoto';s turn to vote.

Kano delegates set to vote.

Kwankwaso getting ready to vote.

Senator Adeleke leaving the stadium immediately after voting.

At exactly 6:16am, the last delegate from the 36 states and the FCT had completed voting.

Even a physically-challenged participated in the voting.
