South Sudan President, Salva Kiir
President Salva Kiir of South Sudan has appointed five new ministers and another five deputy ministers, CEOAFRICA.com gathered from Juba.
The President also re-divided some ministries that was combined with others and made one or two other changes in his previous appointments.
According to sources, the new cabinet will comprise of 33 members, including the President, his deputy and a minister for presidency, although no appointment has been made yet regarding the post of the Vice President and the Minister.
The cabinet which will have at least 25% of women has been commended by MP Abuk Ayite, who chairs the technical committee of the National Assembly which will vet the new cabinet members.
It would be recalled that President Kiir recently sacked all his cabinet members including the vice president.
