JUST IN: CEOAfrica MD arrives Uganda for ACALAN work shop on vehicular cross-border languages

The managing Director, CEOAfrica, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor has arrived Uganda, for the workshop of the African Academy of Languages, ACALAN, on the harmonization of the Kinyarwanda/Kirundi, Kiswahili, Luganda, Malagasyand Somali vehichular cross-border languages.

The workshop which will kick off tomorrow, 15th will run through 17th of Novermber in Kampala.

The workshop is part of ongoing efforts by ACALAN to harmonize the writing systems of African languages, develop harmonized rules of grammar and creation of terminology and lexicography.

The harmonization process will be done through presentations and discussions to review and supplement the existing orthographic rules.
